Welcome to TestBed at UMASS !
Overview
To develop and implement router and end-host
algorithms to provide low-loss, low-delay, and high throughput service
in the Internet.

Experiments
Two experiment settings:
- Local testbed. TCP traffic source
and destination workstations, together with Dummynet, are used to emulate
WAN.
- Internet. A tunnel is setup between
UMASS and UIUC over Abilene.
Physical Testbed
Linux machines configured as routers with bottleneck link along a path
between end hosts.
TCP flows travel along this path with congested router controlled by
AQM (RED, AVQ, and PI.)
